The agricultural export of Prime Minister Modi’s constituency, Varanasi, has increased 183 times in the last 3 years.
In the year 2020-21, the agricultural export of Varanasi was only 4 metric tonnes, which has increased to 732 metric tonnes in 2023-24.
The majority of this export has been to Gulf countries.
Due to Varanasi’s success, Uttar Pradesh has now reached the 3rd position in agricultural export, after Gujarat and Maharashtra.
